Best vet experience. After my dog was diagnosed with a terminal heart illness in New Jersey Dr. Rosenthal worked super hard to communicate with my vets in NJ to make sure I got a couple more weeks with my dog. He was honest and truthful with me about what was happening and called me after every appointment in NJ to make sure I understood what was going on. He even talked to my vets and looked at X-rays. Without him I wouldn't have gotten extra time with my dog.

During the whole process I was able to be there with my pet to help keep him and calm and watch the ultrasound. Everything was explained and all of my questions were answered. Luckily his heart murmur is innocent and we will only need to come back if we find a change in it. Everyone was very friendly, caring, and worth the money and time spent to know my dog is healthy and can continue his normal daily life.
We can't say enough positive things about Dr. Rosenthal and his staff. The breed of dog that we have is prone to heart problems so our dog babies have been patients for many years. He is always so kind and gentle with our dogs and we know that we can trust him to give them the best care. Dr.Rosenthal has always been extremely sensitive to our feelings as well. He explains everything in a way that we can clearly understand and takes time to answer any questions we may have. We appreciate how respectful he has always been to us and our dogs. Knowing that our dogs are in such good hands has made some difficult times a little easier and we are very grateful for Dr. Rosenthal and CVCA! We highly recommend this practice!!
I will tell all of my family and friends that this place is my preference. I had taken the same pet to a facility out in Philadelphia area and they would not let me be with him during his ultrasound. The technicians face when he came back in didn't seem pleasant and like we were a bother. Will be sticking with CVCA for any other problem that may arise.
Recently my young dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur. After radiographs showed his heart looked normal, we went to CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets to figure out the cause.
The wait was not very long, I filled out paperwork sat down and was called back in just a few moments. The techncian was very polite and professional the entire time. Doctor Scmitt came in and listened to my dog, Maverick. After confirming his heart murmur they prepared the next room over to perform his Echocardiogram.
Even though the facility is the same, they are separate from PET ER. However, I did not have any problems with the ER staff while there either. They had what looked like refreshments and a vending machine in the waiting area too.
