This place is awful! They insult you with what they are willing to offer you for items you want to sell, even if they are in great condition or new. They have very strange rules. I believe they make them up as they go because as I walk around the store, while waiting for them to figure out what they will reject or take for pennies, they have items that look like they should be given away instead of purchased. I will never go back to this location again. I hope that this behavior is just one that this store has and this is not adopted by all Plato's Closet locations.
I'm usually a fan of this location, but my visit today completely turned me off. To start off, when I came in the workers were making fun of a customer that had just left (manager of this store, if you're reading this I was there today 12/16/17 at 3:00). They were being so rude and laughing loudly. My nose was itching the entire time (I don't have allergies) which tells me that this place is dusty and very dirty. Also, I found a dress that I already own from Forever 21 (I bought it for $10 1 year ago) selling for $14. Now..... this dress is outdated, USED, housed in this dirty store and is being up-charged by $4. Will someone please tell me how that makes sense????? The prices have grown to be outrageous. I will not be returning.
This place is horrible I agree with the other 80% of people are saying, took in 5-6 pairs of shoes (vans, air max, Jordan flights ) a whole bin of clothes. They offered me 9dollars for 3shirts. Wouldn't take any of the shoes, ones they said were in bad condition but all of which had been worn like 3-4 times. waited an hour and 15 minutes to hear this. The things they are currently selling at the store looked like junk in comparison to what I brought in ( Pacsun, zumiez, h&m, Nike) please everyone save their time and money
My mother and I were walking towards the door to do some back to school shopping and the lady who was working at that moment quickly ran to the door and rudely locked it without any explanation. I, in all my years of shopping at ANY store, have never felt this disrespected. Never go if they're going to lock you out. Not worth the time. Save your money.
Staff is friendly, but the selection is hit and miss. It seems like early fall finds are the best of what they have to offer here. But when the selection is good, it's GREAT.
